Al Shaheed State Company introduces a new copper pipes and bazbars production line which is considered as the first of its kind.A spokesman in the company declared that the new project annual production capacity is 10000 tons, adding that the project includes supplying and installation of equipments to produce heat exchanger pipes and copper and pazbars equipments that are used in electric systems, where a contract was signed with Al Ikhaa State Company in this aspect, the new line technical production rate was 30%, the line operation and production are hoped to start lately 2010 and early 2011.On related context the company performed the rehabilitation works within MIM investment plan, these works lasted until lately 2009, where 36 billions I.D were allocated to rehabilitate the company for both 2008 and 2009 and at performance rate of 100%, referring to rehabilitating vacuum compressor complementary pipes and pazbars production lines for 2009 at amount of one billion I.D of the total allocations, addition to 2008 company equipments rehabilitation at amount 9 billions I.D..The spokesman stressed the company endeavors to operate all its plants to gain high quality products within international specification, adding that the company products were marketed to various institutions such as Ministry of oil, Ministry of Electricity and MIM State companies addition to its dealing with private sector where the company products during 2009 were marketed at about 916 tons at total amount 3 and 830 million tons. As for investment projects there are attempts by the company with Investment Commission in Al Anbar province where the company was visited by a foreign one to be acquainted with these projects a Czech delegation is expected to visit the company regarding ammunition project during March 2010. Its worth mentioning that the company is considered as a pioneer in copper casting production since it is the sole specialized company in this aspect.
