Ibn Al Waleed State Company, one of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals State Companies concluded a number of contracts with different State Ministries and Institutions and both State and Private Sectors. A spokesman at the company clarified to MIM information bureau that the company is implementing a contract to establish rationing center building for the benefit of the Ministry of Trade at a value of (358) million I.D. and a contract to rehabilitate lead foundry for the benefit of State Company for Electric Industries at a value of (183) million I.D. and also a contract to establish fences for Al Nekheb water purification stations for the benefit of Al Anbar Construction Committee at a value of (250) million I.D. and a contract to rehabilitate ceiling for the benefit Gas Filling Company at a value of (177) million I.D. in addition to a contract to manufacturing (10) moveable caravans for the benefit of State Company for Geological Survey at a value of (148) million I.D.. The spokesman showed that the company signed contracts with private sector they are under performance including a contract to manufacturing (10) portable caravans for the benefit of Ardh Al Sultani Private Company at a value of (235) million I.D.. In a related context the company has a number of contracts that are supposed to be signed on 2010 including a contract to rehabilitate (66) generators for Ministry of Defense at a value of (4) billion and (400) million I.D. and other contract maintain and operate generators foe the benefit of Baghdad sewage directorate at a value of (120) million I.D. and a contract to supply water purification station and drinking water station for the benefit of Baghdad Municipality at a value of (1) billion and (352) million I.D. and a contract to rehabilitate Al Taji Asphalt Plant at a value of (1) billion and (150) million I.D. in addition to a contract to rehabilitate armored vehicles for the benfit of Ministry of Interior at a value of (9) billion and (957) million I.D.. It is to be noted that Ibn Al Waleed State Company rehabilitated and maintained its plant on 2 stages first stage:- the company buildings were rehabilitated depending on the company staff and providing all requirements from local markets as for the production machines and forklifts they were supplied from state company for automotives industry as for materials and equipments they were contracted up on with Anwar Al Sameem private company to import them from abroad for not being available at local market while the second stage:- Caravans with different sizes were manufactured, moveable fern, washing machine for generators, manufacturing electric fusion fern with a steel bowl at (200 kg) capacity and manufacturing cooling basin and other works to be benefited from in the company production process.
