State Company for Electric Industries, one of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals State Companies implemented a number of its concluded contracts with the different State Institutions through January, 2010. A spokesman at the company clarified to MIM information bureau that the company rehabilitated and operated 2 generators systems at (2000KV) each for the benefit of Council of Ministers General Secretariat at a value of (312) million and (500) thousand I.D., and supplied Al Karkh Power Distribution Directorate with (75) transformer at (400 KVM) capacity at a value of (919) million and (350) thousand I.D. and rehabilitated (250KV) Perkins generators for the benefit of Ministry of Human Rights. The spokesman added that the company supplied Missan University which affiliates to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with (4) transformers with other accessories at a total value of (3) billion and (313) million and (165) thousand I.D. in addition to supplied High Institute for Administrative and Security Advancement which affiliates to the Ministry of Interior with transformer at (500 KVA) capacity at a value of (141) million and (480) thousand I.D.. The spokesman referred that the company allocations for environmental project for 2010 were (1) billion and (500) million I.D. these allocations were divided as (750) million I.D. for civil works that include infrastructure while the other (750) million I.D. were advocated for purchasing equipments for this purpose.
