Al Furat State Company for Chemical Industries, one of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals State Companies expects an increase in the annual profits by modernizing its plants and establishing new ones so as actively contribute to cover Iraq needs of its products. Engineer Jabbar Madhloom Lol the company General Director clarified to MIM information bureau that the company sought its products to increase its production by its major plants where a contract was signed with Beiji thermo station to supply (900) tons of caustic soda and (450) tons of Hydrochloric acid and (210) tons of concentrated sulfur acid and another contract was signed with Al Musayab Thermo Station to supply with (300) tons of and (195) tons of concentrated sulfur acid. He stressed that on (May and June) , 2010 sales were (1.324.968.975) I.D. represented in several contracts including a contract with State Company for Power Generation at Al Basrah to supply with (240) tons of caustic soda and (300) tons of concentrated sulfur acid and (600) tons of Hydrochloric acid. And other 2 contracts with MIM state Companies the first one to supply (1500) tons of concentrated sulfur acid for the benefit of State Company for Southern Fertilizers and the second to supply (500) tons of caustic soda for the benefit of Phosphate State Company. He referred that a contract was signed with Al Nasrya Thermo Station to supply with (60) tons of Hydrochloric acid and (250) tons of concentrated sulfur acid where the company supplied Northern Oil Company with (1200) tons and Southern Oil Company with (3000) tons of Hydrochloric acid and supplied (2500) tons concentrated sulfur acid for Northern Refinery Company and (1000) tons for Northern Gas Company and supplied (2000) tons of (Hypochlorite Sodium) for Southern Oil Company.
